things I’ve learned in my 25 years

The best way to learn is by actually doing. Start now. See where it leads.
Saying no is often hard but when overwhelmed or overcommitted, take the “Hell Yes!” approach to decision-making.
It’s okay to ask for help. In fact, when you have a clear purpose and articulate why you do what you do, you’ll inspire people around your mission.
The deep feeling and desire inside will not go away. Go after your dream and go where it takes you.
Trust you gut trust your gut trust your gut trust your gut.
Tap into your intuition by reflecting and listening to the voice inside. Reflect daily and always listen to that voice.
If you always try to please others, you’ll kill yourself. Be aware of your intentions. Be completely yourself. Those who don’t get you aren’t worth your time.
You don’t have to live how others expect you to. Comfortable and stable and consistent is not your cup of tea.
There are two types of people in every start-up: the nut and the rock. You will never be the rock. Embrace your nuttiness.
Live to create impact and do good. Nothing is more deeply fulfilling than truly inspiring someone to pursue their dreams and design their own life. You were put on earth to do this.
To build a home by the Cinematic Orchestra is the best song in the whole wide world. Listen to it every day.
(I’ll add to this as I go! Oh and when I say “you,” I’m reflecting and reminding myself.)
