A beautiful day in New York. My french cousin Chloe is in from Paris, living and working in New York through September. Yay.
Meet the Domino Team. We clearly were very ready for this photo. Thanks, Seth.
Thanks Seth, errr Mr. Puft, for the warm welcome.
GPOYW: Ben took a bunch of photos of Cath (my biz partner & the founder/designer of workisnotajob.) & I in Central Park last weekend. Ben hates this one but I like it. I prefer unconventional photos.
how to take awesome kung-fu fighting photos (!!!)
1. Celebrate bestie’s 26th birthday

2. Have some many drinks
3. Wear sunglasses at night

4. Fail at first kung-fu attempt

5. Be inspired by boy who jumps higher than me

6. Take off heels & repeat.

today is a good day for plaid.

Great seeing and hanging with some of the high school crew this past weekend, and meeting Rhett’s wonderful new wife, Megan.

i feel like we don’t appreciate the movements of the sky as much as we should. anytime you’re feeling something intense, look up at the sky. what do you see?

Ah, good ol’ MTA. The service is awful and the fare is too high, but it’s so nice seeing different art installations at every station.
Interesting to get a New Yorker’s perspective vs. someone (me) who moved here from San Francisco in March, where there is an AWFUL transportation system (and where I had a car / hated having a car). Originally from Chicago, I think NY’s MTA has them beat too. So I appreciate the service, art installations and never actually thought about the price…
